Administration of Solapur, Government Offices in Solapur

Solapur district of Maharashtra comprises of three revenue Sub-divisions, eleven revenue Talukas and 1144 revenue villages. Tahsildars take care the administration of the Talukas and Sub-divisional officer is responsible for the administration of Sub-divisions. The overall administration of the district is run by District Collector/District Magistrate, who is assisted by Resident Deputy Collector and the Sub-Divisional Officers to maintain law and order of the district. Thus the flow of orders and instructions is mainly from Collector to S.D.Os and then to Tahsildars.
